Stella Maris Dental has a very modern purpose-built Central Sterilisation Room (CSR) which is fully staffed & equipped just as in a General Hospital.

We use a combination of methods which together are designed to give 100% protection. All metal instruments and hand pieces are sterilised by Autoclave (high pressure steam) as used in all hospitals.

Needles & disposable items are supplied ready sterilised in sealed packs and are never re-used. Cups, hand-towels, impression trays etc. are made from plastic or paper & are thrown away after one use only. During all treatments we all wear gloves which are discarded after each patient.

It is the policy of Stella Maris Dental to always use disposable items; so we can envisage a time when all the items used in your treatment are thrown away after a single use only
