Dental X-rays
X- Rays are normally taken for two reasons:

1. To help us reach a correct diagnosis.
2. Provide proper care and treatment.

We take no more than is absolutely essential.

• All staff are trained in the safe use of the X-ray equipment which is carried out under the direct supervision of the dentist.
• The equipment is checked regularly by the Medical Physics Department at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
• Use is made of the latest advanced X-ray film processing machines to minimise the risk of faulty films and therefore unnecessary retaking of X-rays
