Laser scanning to diagnose early and hidden decay

DIAGNOdent is a hand held laser that can detect the earliest signs of tooth decay. It is now possible to diagnose early decay before it can be seen by the human eye or on X-Rays.

All fissures present on the surfaces of each tooth are scanned using the laser DIAGNOdent.

Readings within a given range indicate either early decay or deeper decay. The decay can now be normally treated with the New HealOzone technique. The readings are recorded for future comparison.

HealOzone therapy has been shown to stop the progress of decay in 95% of such cases. Some "healing" and hardening of the tooth enamel has been shown to occur as well.
