Appointment information

We always try to see you at the appointed time. If you are kept waiting there is normally a good reason. Our policy is to inform you of the reason for any delay.

Recall Appointments
Dental treatment rendered on a sporadic basis is little better than no treatment at all. It is only with regular examinations that we can assure you of optimal oral health (please refer to the oral cancer leaflet provided). Routine dental health check-ups also help to keep down the cost of dental treatment.

Once you have completed your course of treatment, your recall appointment will be arranged for you before leaving. In most cases this is in six months' time, although some patients need to visit the dental hygienist at two or three monthly intervals. You will be advised as to what is appropriate for you.

Missed Appointments/ Late Cancellations
If you are unable to keep to your appointment, please give us at least 48 hours notice. This enables us to make alternative arrangements. Others who may be in pain can be offered the appointment. Missed appointments or late cancellations (less than 48 hours) must regrettably carry a charge (for details of charges please ask the reception desk staff).
